A Collection of personal and professional projects I’ve worked on.

LuminaryCXM, an internal and custom Customer Management System for a Solar sales company that took in leads, created proposals, filled in information, and eventually signed them up for installation, planning, and installation.
I was mainly responsible for the proposal software calculating the final cost to homeowners, monthly costs, and power offset estimates for home owners. Over time we were able to grow our small suite of tools to a large and exciting enterprise.

At Kyani I worked with an online store with sales to multiple countries. Our team were able to handle payment online to other countries and with other currencies. I worked with them to help solve difficult challenges, and create new features throughout their custom internal software, and on their external shopping websites. It’s been a long time, but I’ve learned a lot from working at Kyani. Here’s an example of one of their external facing websites.

Excellence in Everyone is a community focused business in my home town, they help people with disabilities to learn new skills, and to have a better life. I was able to get with them and help them get their website up and running. With the wonders of WordPress they have been able to get online, and share important information with clients and potential clients ever since.

The Last Knight Of Aelder was a comic book idea a friend of mine had. He needed help getting set up. I got him some hosting, and set up his domain name. I helped him through getting the styles right, and got him to the point where he could choose the colors and the main styles himself. Something of a teaching experience for me. Finally we were able to add in that plugin for handling the web comic style navigation and he was set. Ultimately a small and satisfying project.

Point of Sale program to help manage ticket sales for a small Movie Theater I worked at in the town where I grew up. The owner was running out of time on the software they had paid for, and it was starting to look like taking money and managing tickets was going to be a problem. Fortunately I was in school at the time, and was able to make this Java program, with a very basic UI, that helped us to sell tickets for a few months, and calculate change. It’s not very impressive, but I’m still so proud of it.
